About Marie Lupica, M.D.
Marie Lupica is a medical physician and a licensed acupuncturist. Dr Lupica has been practicing emergency medicine as a clinical assistant professor at a major teaching hospital in Manhattan for more than 25 years. Following up on an interest in how Eastern medicine, specifically acupuncture/ acupressure, complements Western medicine, Dr Lupica visited the traditional Chinese Hospital in Beijing. This hospital is at the forefront of blending Eastern and Western medical techniques. Dr Lupica subsequently went on to receive medical acupuncture training at the Helm’s Medical Institute. This is a highly regarded course for physicians by physicians.
